Mares 2
We apologize if some of the mare pedigrees are hard to read.  All the mare and stallion extended pedigrees are also listed at www.allbreedpedigree.com for easier viewing
if you enter their registered names.

“Breezy” is a nice mare we bought at Johnny Knippling’s annual horse sale as a weanling.  She is very cowy and is a thick muscled mare with good conformation.  She was a very nice riding mare until she was used for breeding.  Her colts have a lot of feel and are extremely intelligent.

“Jaws” is a mare Rodney bought from Brady and Wendy Rinehart at Highmore, South Dakota in the Spring of 2008.  She is bred to watch a cow and has the breeding up close.  Annie’s Little Pepper is a Kenzy ranch sire who is a leading sire of arena and performance horses in the Midwest.  Gay Bar Freckles is a son of Freckles Playboy and by a daughter of GayBar King.  Peppy San Badger and Doc O’lena speak for themselves.  Hesa Star Doc is an own son of Doc’s Tom Thumb.  Her colts should really perform.

“Delilah” is a June 10, 2005 mare who has some real potential as a broodmare.  She had about two weeks of riding on her before she severely cut a front foot in the pasture in the middle of her training.  She has a ton of feel and athletic ability and is real light on her feet. She probably has more natural cow ability than any horse we have owned.  Her colts should make great ranch horses and arena horses.  She is by Kip Rick and JK Tiape Treat.

“Honey” (CDs Acre Doc 4185363 2001 sorrel mare) is a mare we purchased in the Fall of 2008.  She was in training for the NCHA futurity as a 2 yr. old in Texas and got sick right before the futurity and was unable to compete.  She still cuts and is fun to hook on cattle.  The first day she had a rope swung on her, she heeled and tracked 20 head of steers in the arena and would go back and sit in the roping box with her head down and a foot cocked.  She is smooth as silk when she moves and is extremely intelligent and good minded.  She has a pedigree with absolutely no holes in it by being an own daughter of CD Olena who is the #5 all-time leading active sire and has progeny earnings of over $12 million.  She is by an own daughter of Bob Acre Doc who was a 2-time NCHA world champion, a member of the NCHA Hall of Fame, and has offspring earnings in excess of $7 million.
We are privileged to own a mare of this caliber.

“JJ” is another mare Rodney purchased from Brady and Wendy Rinehart in 2008.   After riding a few colts out of this mare, it is evident what this mare has to offer in a breeding program.  Her colts have good conformation, natural ability, really watch cattle, and are good minded.  She has some real nice bloodlines up close that are hard to find.  She is an own daughter of Gay Bar Freckles and by a daughter of Showdown Bob who, himself, earned 24 AQHA halter points and was an AQHA performance point earner.  Showdown was born on the King Ranch in Kingsville, Texas and was an earner of 45 AQHA halter points while also making his mark as a sire by producing 14 AQHA champions, 67 halter point earners, 6 Superior halter horses, 45 performance point earners with 22 ROMS & 4 Superiors.  Poco Jeep was an AQHA performance point earner and an own son of Poco Bueno by a daughter of the original Blackburn from the Waggoner Ranch in Fort Worth, Texas.  This mare has a ton of foundation breeding and is extremely consistent.

“Jetta” is a May 31, 2005 mare who loves people and likes to work.  Rodney bought her as a yearling from Earl Linneman at Clark, South Dakota.  She has great conformation, a powerful hind-end, and hard feet.  Her pedigree boasts the perfect combination of cowsense with racetrack speed, giving her the unique ability to work hard all day, really watch a cow, outrun anything in the pasture, and be gentle as a kitten.   Her papers show many well-known, proven sires such as Bar Money, Boon Dox John, Jet Stop, and Mr. Docs Dakota. Sires such as Three Bars, Boon Bar, Luke McLuke, Jet Deck, Carrara Marble, and Welika Cash are one generation off her papers.  There is a lot of breeding behind this mare and it shows in the way she rides.
