"SKY PLAYER" (registration #4800935) is a gorgeous daughter of the legendary gray stallion, Playgun, and by a daughter of the multi-million dollar sire, Gallo Del Cielo, also known as "Rooster".  She was bred and raised by Wagonhound Land & Livestock, one of the premier performance horse breeders in the country.  She was purchased as a yearling by the Lazy T Ranch of Idaho Falls, Idaho, who concentrates it's breeding and training program toward reining and reined cowhorse prospects.

Her sire, Playgun, has become one of the most recognizable sires in the performance horse world.  He has become an extremely versatile sire, whose offspring have been successful in ranching, roping, reining, reined cowhorse, and cutting.  Playgun was a prominent competitor in the NCHA in the mid-1990's, winning almost $170,000 in lifetime NCHA earnings.  His colts are known for their great conformation, monster stops, athleticism, durability, and intelligence.  It is this combination of traits that has allowed his offspring to excel at any performance horse discipline.  As of 2011, he was the sire of almost $6.5 million of cutting horses alone.

Her dam, Sky Why, was an own daughter of the remarkable sire, Gallo Del Cielo, and by a daughter of Doc Olena. Her dam, Sky Why, was the 1997 AQHA High Point Cutting Mare, the 1997 AQHA Reserve High Point Junior Cutting Champion, earned an AQHA ROM, and earned 16.5 open cutting points.  Gallo Del Cielo a.k.a. "Rooster", was the NRHA's #5 All-Time Leading Sire, siring earners of over $3.5 million as of 2011.  He is also an Equi-Stat Leading Reining Maternal Grandsire.  Doc Olena is the #2 Paternal Grandsire of cutting horses and has produced over $15 million in offspring.

"Sky Player" is an extremely promising young broodmare with the conformation, disposition, size, and ability that we like to see in our breeding program.  She is straight legged, has a pretty head, and a graceful way of moving that is evident in her YouTube video.  We are excited to have another "complete package" mare with a "no-holes" pedigree to add to the broodmare group.  We believe she will be a phenomenol cross with our stallions to produce the all-around athletes capable of any discipline or job they encounter.

“Cheetah” is one of the nicest Dash for Cash mares we have.  She was injured as a yearling before she was able to be ridden. She is out of one of the best broodmares we ever owned that we used for breeding until she was 24 years old.  Other colts out of her mother are being used in ranch competitions and are solid ranch and arena horses.  She was the top weanling out of her colt crop and had her first colt in 2008 that was a real standout.  She has a pleasant disposition and great conformation.

“Emma” is another Dash for Cash mare that was ridden on the ranch until she was 5 years old.
She is a sleaky mover with a lot of feel and athletic ability.  She had her first colt in 2008.

“LuLu” is a nice mare that was ridden until she was 6 years old before she was used for breeding.  She really covers the ground and has a good disposition.  She was used extensively for doctoring cattle in the pasture and at brandings and was a real solid ranch horse.  Her colts have all been curious and friendly.

“Clod” is a big mare with a lot of style and feel.  She has a lot of run in her pedigree and can really move.  She has a ton of cow and can cover the ground.  With Dash for Cash on the top side and going back to Go Man Go on the bottom, she is no mistake.

“Pepsi” (Peptos Stylish Cd 4760092 2005 bay roan mare) is a mare that we purchased in the Fall of 2008.  She is a huge stopper with a ton of natural ability.  She has a lot of cow sense and will come meet you when you see her in the pasture.  You couldn’t write a better pedigree and she is fun to ride.  She is a daughter of our CD Olena mare.  Being out of Peptos Stylish Oak and by an own daughter of CD Olena, her colts will really hook on cattle and ride the best. As of 2008, Peptos Stylish Oak offspring have earned over $1 million and he is the number one sire in Australia and is turning heads in the U.S. with a daughter of winning the 2008 NCHA Summer Spectacular Open Derby with Boyd Rice in Ft. Worth, Texas and offspring winning the 2008 Australian NCHA Open Derby Championship and another winning the Australian NCHA Non-pro Derby Championship.
