"Huckleberry" (EL Lakota Chic) is a 2004 athletic 15.1 hand gelding that is responsive and has done everything on the ranch. He has drug calves at brandings, been used in feedlots, roped and doctored calves and cows in pastures, and can smoothly cover the ground. Huckleberry's pedigree traces to some of the greatest foundation running-blood sires as well as current performance bloodlines that are winning money in the arena.

Huckleberry traces to the AAA Supreme Champion running sire, Bar Money, on the top and bottom side of his pedigree. Boon Dox John, a great son of Boon Bar, is also in his pedigree which gives him enough cow-sense to make him great for working with cattle.
Huckleberry's dam is an own daughter of Mr. Docs Dakota, a buckskin son of Sun Frost out of a daughter of Depth Bars, who has become a notable sire of ranch and arena horses throughout the Midwest. Depth Bars was a AQHA champion producing sire and a son of the AQHA Hall of Fame running horse, Depth Charge, who was one of the greatest running horses in the mid-1900's.
This gelding has enough frame and leg to really cover the ground while still having the athletic ability to set into a spin and sit into a hard stop. He is soft off the rider's legs and hands and has a lot of flex and bend to work with. He has hard black feet on all four corners and has never taken an unsound step.
